Deed Variation
Is your deed up to date?
Laws are changing all the time, and heavy penalties can apply in the event of non-compliance (e.g., loss of concessional tax status). Any deed older than five years should be reviewed at a minimum, as it may not comply with rules and regulations. Broadly, we recommend that due to all the recent legislative changes, deeds made or last varied prior to mid-1999 should be upgraded.
